1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using ResumeScan AI ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

ResumeScan AI provides an AI-powered resume screening Chrome extension and related services for recruiters and hiring professionals. The service includes:

• Resume parsing and analysis
• Job description matching
• AI-powered scoring and insights
• Report generation and export features

3. Subscription and Billing

3.1 Subscription Plans:

• Free Plan: 5 scans per day at no cost
• Pro Plan: ₹2,000 per month for unlimited scans

3.2 Payment Terms:

• Payments are processed through Razorpay
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR)
• Prices are inclusive of applicable taxes

3.3 Auto-Renewal:

Pro subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation:

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
• No partial month refunds for cancellations

4.2 Refund Policy:

• 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time subscribers
• Refunds must be requested within 7 days of initial purchase
• No refunds for renewal payments
• Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Provide accurate account information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account
• Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws
• Not reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Data Privacy and Security

• We process data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
• Resume data is processed securely and not stored permanently
• We do not sell or share your data with third parties
• You retain all rights to your uploaded content

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ResumeScan AI are owned by ResumeScan AI Technologies Private Limited and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

ResumeScan AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the last 12 months.

9. Service Availability

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service with 30 days notice
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be resolved through good faith negotiations. If resolution cannot be reached within 30 days, the dispute shall be settled through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between ResumeScan AI and you regarding the use of the Service, superseding any prior agreements.
